Yom ha sheshe, or Friday and we are up at the crack of dawn to help tag birds.
Dan Sapir and his lovely bride have invited us to go to the yerucham park to assist his group of merry men in catching and taging the birds, yerucham is a stopping point on the migration from Africa to Europe.
The birds are caught in a net, tagged, weighed, measured and examined. Records are kept on each bird. One bird had been tagged three years ago here. After the exam they are let go.
